PDF vectorisé

Bonjour à tous,

Quelqu'un pourrait-il me renseigner quant au faite que l'on dise: "PDF 'vectorisé' ", car lorsque je fais un logo dans illustrator et que je l'enregistre au format pdf, puis que j'ouvre ce fichier pdf dans photoshop et que je le rétréci, je constate que les pixels apparaissent. Donc pourquoi dis t-on que c'est un PDF "vectorisé"???
