Hello. I keep getting an error message "the file tif is in a format which cannot be placed". The tif was created in photoshop. If I resave it as a photoshop (psd) file, there is not a problem. Can anyone help?

check the image mode in photoshop, check the resolution isnt weird like 1dpi and a millon cm across or vice versa, generally just open and resave it using default tif settings could fix it, but also check for layers and paths etc, you may find there is more going on in the tif than you need/realise. ?
