Hi everyone, I have a big problem esporting my project to PDF. Once i export in desktop and open my pdf, i can see a lot of white line all over my photo, how can i do? Please help me I have a graduation exam
Is that a photo? Or did you trace it to convert it to vector?
Basically i imported some images in illustrator and then i do tracing image, i select gray scales and then exported to PDF. Once open that PDF i saw that awful lines...
Did you expand the tracing?
I don't know what that means...
Object > Image Trace > Expand
No, i always had the same window open.
Object menu (Ogetto) > Image Trace > Expand
Ok now i have this
And when saved as PDF, does it make a difference?
No, it's always the same
Those are anti-aliasing artifacts. Most of the time they are only an issue of displaying on screen. With complex tracings they could be an actual issue of precision.
With offset printing you should not notice that in the printed result. With other printing methods it could carry over into the print.
What is it you want to do with the trace?
You could try and check the Overlapping option when tracing.
