Plugin Failure

Hi, after I installed a third party plugin, Adobe Illustrator gives me this warning after I open the application: Can't open the illustration. The file is locked or in use. ID: -54

I need this plugin to be able to place reg marks on my files so our Cutter reads and create custom cuts.

What OS and version? What version of AI? If it's a Mac, and you rely on plug-ins, don't update beyond 25.0.1.

Did you check to make sure that as you update Illustrator that the plug-in is also updating? I wouldn't update until all of your plug-ins notify that they are up to date.
