Creative Cloud recently updated me to Illustrator 2020 and I'm have problems with an important 3rd-party plugin (Silhouette Connect lastest available version) that worked perfectly well in Illustrator 2019.

I notice that CC Manager keeps older versions of most of the other apps (Photoshop/Premiere/Auditon/ After Effects) but not Illustrator. Is it possible to to downgrade to the previous version of Illustraor? I really need to use this plugin to drive my cutter. Thank you

(2015 iMac running 10.13.6/ Illustrator 2020)

Thanks

Yes...this is when I discovered that Adobe Illustrator 19 had been deleted (apparently by the CC manager). All that left of AI 2019 is the plugin folder.

I just looked at the advanced options for the CC manager and found that I had neglected to uncheck the default "remove old application" for Adobe Illustrator. The box was unchecked for all the other apps.

All is not lost: I got the plug-in working in AI 2020 after trashing the preferences and I won't let the CC throw anything away again.

Did you click the 3 dots in the CC app next to Open in the Illustrator option?
