I have recently started to use the Adobe Illustrator on my Intuos Pro Wacom pen tablet. I am having a problem with getting pen sensitivity. The 'pressure' option in the drop down list is greyed out so cant be selected. Has anyone else in the Illustrator community had this problem and how did they fix it? Thanks so much. Cate

This happened to me after an update. This worked for me...

  1. Close Illustrator
  2. Open your Applications folder.
  3. Go to Wacom tablet folder > Wacom Desktop Center App
  4. See if you need to enable it
  5. Try Illustrator again to see if it works

Somehow it disabled with the update. It was working fine before.

Looking forward to your response.

Hi

I have tried all solutions out there (uninstalling, reinstalling, accessibilty creating new admin and resetting all preferences).... but still have the same problem with it being greyed out. (Illustrator 2020, Mojave 10.14.6 and back to Wacom 6.3.39-1)

Yes, the pressure is available in the Wacom 6D brushes up to a point. Prior to most recent illustrator and wacom updates I could create dots for shading, whose size was relative to pressure. Now they are either the smallest or greatest of the parameters with nothing in between. Any solutions?
