Preview and the PDF show differently in adobe illustrator

Hello, I have been working on this logo, the main issue that I am facing is that the preview and the pdf show me different results, in terms of line weight and the overall quality of the lines. The lines of the curves in the PDF seem to be made of segments of the arch and is not smooth, Even the line weights seem to be totally different. Please help LINES IN THE APPLICATIONLINES IN THE PDF

And I have also noticed that if I  have a line segment and cut it in the center, and apply a linear gradient to the other then there seems to be no smooth transition between the line segment and the line segment with the stroke.

I think it was a problem with chrome, opened the same file with adobe acrobat it works smooth.
