I'm trying to print a catalog .It has lots of scanned images .My printer is RICOM IMC300.

I create the catalog in CMYK 300Dpi.Images in my catalog looks muddy and disorted.

Can anyone tell me how to create high quality catalog and print it. All my scanned images are scanned fabrics.I'm also willing to get new paper type if nessary.

Thanks!

You could probably get better results, when working in an RGB file and sending RGB to your desktop printer. Or is this just a testprint and you want to have it offset printed?

can we please see a photo of the "distortion"? Everything is called a distortion these days and it just means nothing whatsoever.
