Hello Guys,

I have a problem which bothering me and my team for awhile.

sometime my teammate created a cmyk file, the colour number will be shifted when we open in other machine. for example, she made a circle with C100 M56 Y60 K23, when I or my client open the file in our own machine, the circle colour turn into C86.89 M60.02 Y55.39 K20.99. It looks similar thru.

Is it because of the version different or colour profile different?

Thanks !

Edit > Color settings.

Please learn about color management. It has been there for 20 years and it won't go away. None of modern publishing works without it.

There are trainings on LinkedIn Learning (not for free)

In case you can read German, there is a good free ressource at www.cleverprinting.de

On the other machine color management might be set to a different CMYK working color profile and also to automatically convert all files to the working profile when opening and additionally to suppress all warnings.
