problems making a pattern in illustrator

When i make e repeated pattern from some object in illustrator it often happens that i get a litte line in the pattern, how kan i avoid that? I don't know what to do?

Does it vanish when you turn off smoothing artwork in Preferences > General?

If so, then what you see is just anti-aliasing artifacts.
