Hi everyone.

I have a psd file - A4 size with 3mm bleed guides.

If I open this psd file in Illustrator, will the guides be retained, or will I need to recreate the document / guides again in Illustrator.

My Illustrator trial has expired, so I cannot test this.

Thank you all in advance.

You don't OPEN PSD files in Illustrator at all. You PLACE them, and they become one of perhaps many graphics and other elements on the page. You can scale and transform the placed file. I cannot imagine what guide lines should do in this case.
