Question about Join tool

Good day to all. I have Illustrator CC 2014 installed. When I select Window / Workspace / Layout, some tools are missing, for example Join Tool, Curve and others, which are discussed in the video tutorials. Perhaps these tools are in later versions of the program. At the same time, as you can see in the picture below, at the bottom of the toolbar, I do not have three dots.

The Join tool was introduced in an update to CC2014: Illustrator version 18.1

The Curve (curvature?) tool was introduced in the same update.

The three dots, used for editing toolbar contents, were introduced in CC2019.

Thanks for reaching out, In addition to what Doug has mentioned, I'd recommend updating your app to the latest version to get the latest features of the Adobe Illustrator.
