Hi -

My power went out and my illustrator file was no where to be found upon relanching the software (illustrator). I also wasn't asked to recover any data upon relaunch of the program. Is there anyway I can recover my work? I'm working in OS. Thanks!

Probably not.

A power outage can break basically anthing ona computer. Including the harddisk or the computer itself.

So saving backup copies is crucial despite recovery functions.
