Recovering Illustrator Files

So I have a shared account and I got logged out and I didn't save my file. where would it be on Mac?

If it wasn't saved then that is that.

Do you have access to the account now?

If so, try and launch Illustrator. Maybe it has saved a recovery file. It wil, try and recover that when you launch it. If it asks you to recover a file, then you have to do that immediately. Otherwise the recovery file will be deleted permanently.

Adobe version 25.0.1

Shared account meaning its one educational account used by three people so we have to log each other out when someone wants to use it

It was an Adobe Ilustrator file

And I don't know where it was saved or if it even was saved
