Saving Adobe Stock image as JPEG

I have downloaded several pieces of artwork from adobe stock images. They show up beautifully as AI and I can save as a pdf. But I need to save as a JPEG and although I can see the saved file, there is nothing in it. Please help.

Please show a screenshot of the document in Illustrator that contains the layers panel (layers opened)

In Illustrator

File >> Export >> Export As .>> JPEG  Enable use artboards

Or in acrobat with the .pdf open

File >> Export to >> Image >> JPEG
