[Script] - How I can set Letter Space

layer = document.layers.getByName("AutoEditor");

NameItem = layer.pageItems.getByName('Name');

NameItem.spacing = 100;

It is my script code, I want to set Letter Spacing

but not work that...

 

How can I set letter spacing? (I mean VA)

Hi,

The property is tracking to give space between characters. Try below snippet

document = app.activeDocument;
layer = document.layers.getByName("AutoEditor");
NameItem = layer.pageItems.getByName('Name');
NameItem.textRange.characterAttributes.tracking = 100;
