Hello,

I'm going to try and build a LED Neon sign with text. I'm going to use an X-Carve CNC machine to trace the font onto the plexiglass so that i know where to attach the LED Neon. My question is, how do I pull a script typeface font into illustrator and do an "offset" that is a certaind distance apart that matches the width of the LED Neon rope. Here's an example on instagram of someone doing what i'm trying to accomplish. https://www.instagram.com/p/CGadA-ODKzR/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

If someone could help me with the steps, it would be very much appreciative!

Thank you

Does the keyword: "Offset path" help a little further?
