Second line of point type is picking up the style of the first line when pasting plain text

New to 25.3.1 update, MacOS 11.4. When there are two lines in a point type object, selecting the entire second line (formatted differently from the first line) and pasting in plain text (copied from a Finder filename) is now picking up the formatting from the first line instead of retaining the formatting from the existing line, as if there were an invisible return character from the first line, or as if it were a continuation of the first line. This is contrary to AI behavior since forever.

If the entire line of type minus the first character is selected, the style remains as expected.
