shape with effect gets deformed if I rotate it.

Hi,

So I drawed 3 lines, gave them a wave effect. But when I rotate them, they deforme.
Anybody has a solution? I just want to preserve the wave shape.

To help you understand; the effect is "live," so it is reapplied to the object after you make a transformation.

 

To preserve the effect as it was initially applied, as Jacob advised, Object > Expand Appearance makes it so that the effect is applied permanently, and no longer "live".
