This has been an issue throughout the 24.2.3 upgrade and is not resolved. I am now on my third downgrade to 24.1.3 to get back to ordinary functionality with key objects.

Why has this not been addressed? If a key object is desired, an additional click should do it, not be done automatically. I didn't even check to see if the other key object problems were resolved.

After updating you need to reset the preferences and then also select "Bounding box" in "Align to" in the panel. And then it should stick. Does it not work?

And if it does still not work, please post in Uservoice.because that is where the developers read. Please post bugs & feature requests to http://illustrator.uservoice.com
