Short cut key board don't work in illustrator (windows 10)

Key board short cuts in Illustrator didnt work for me, not even undo (;-) .

I have windows 10 and this is an old problem for me , but I think maybe people who have the same problem? I got help from adobe support usually good help, but nobody could resolve this until a Swedish gamer, talking about possible language settings English and Swedish. I have always preferred english versions so I am used to it looking for tutorials etc, even though more difficult at times. So he gave me the tip to in the taskbar change swedish, and then it worked! And I do this every day now, but maybe more people with two languages?
