Soft Round Brush has Gone!

Hi lovely community!

Here's a weird thing I've not come across before;

I went to select the soft round brush - from the defaul brush library and it had gone - I clicked on the Brush Libraries Menu and browsed all the different optins here - I''lll attach a screenshot of the brushes on file...

But none of these have the standard 'soft round' brush.... so what have I done?

I'm working in a CMYK environment in case it's useful...

It's as if I've deleted the default set.... but am genuinely lost right now.

All the best!

Are you thinking of Photoshop brushes? I can't think of a 'soft round' Illustrator brush off the top of my head.

Crikey! - Hadn't considered that... I do most of my work in Photoshop.... so yes, that's what's happening here..

I just assumed that Illustrator would have it too... but I'm guessing that the blurred edge of the brush can't be great fun for the vectored nature of the app....

So my problem is that it was never there to begin with!

Thanks so much for getting back to me - you're fab!

Only way I can think of to achieve a soft brush in illustrator is to use a blur.
