I often encounter problems when I starting up Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.
I work with iMac 27-inch 2017, macOS High Sierra and Wacom Cintiq 27QHD
Have you tried uninstalling all of the software (Including Creative Cloud) and reinstalling?

I use the latest versions of the Adobe software.
The software is freezing while starting up or while open a document. it occurs more and more during de last weeks.

Do you have any third party plugins installed?
Where are files located?
Are all fonts checked and OK?
Is this a new installation?
Has ever been a previous version installed?
Did this ever work correctly?
Is a printer connected, set up as a default printer and turned on?
