For the past couple of days Illustrator has been stuck on the brush tool and I can't switch to any other tool no matter what I've tried—restarting the computer, restarting Illustrator, resetting preferences, updating application, turning on/off caps lock, disabling the Wacom tablet, etc. Has anyone had any experience with this and how did you resolve it?

If this is happening while not working remotely then please have Customer Care take a look at it. They can log into your system to check things out.

Which version and system is it?

Does it work when you completely uninstall the Wacom?

Does it already launch with the brush tool selected?

I'm running 24.2.3 (64-bit)

OS: Windows
Version: 10.0
System Architecture: x64
Built-In Memory: 16158 MB

The LogiOptions plug-in is also running. I'm working remotely so I am basically running my work computer from home through Citrix. It does launch with the brush tool selected.

So Illustrator is not installed on your home machine?

This is not covered by the license and Illustrator is not made for remote work.
