Im getting lots of issues with illustrator sticking in rotate and scale and not dropping them. I have an nvidia card, but gpu effects are turned off as I belive this affects this bug. But its still doing it. Its not been a problem until the latest update. Where windows wacom and illustrator wanted updating at the same time.

Hi there,

Sorry about this trouble. Is it happening with multiple files? If yes, please try these steps ( https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator/resolve-slow-performance-and-unexpected-behaviors-in-illustrator/m-p/11561981#M250493 ) and share your observations with us.

Hello, I'm new to the digital art experience and illustrator.  I'm working on a wacom and going through a tutorial on how to use illustrator.  I'm in a section that is going over the rotate, reflect and duplicate tool but I keep getting stuck on rotate or reflect.  It doesn't let me keep or commit to the rotation I want to use.  I'm not sure if it's a wacom issue or an illustrator issue.  Any advice for a newbie would be helpful. Thank you!

Can you please describe step by step?

Also: if you disconnect the Wacom and use this with a mouse - does that work?

Since updating from 25.2 to 25.3.1, I've noticed that my Wacom stylus doesn't seem to release right away. In other words, if I drag an object, then release pressure on the stylus, the artwork seems to remain stuck to the stylus and it moves away from the location I dragged it to. The canvas is not rotated and I'm using GPU performance. Does anybody else see this?

I'm running an i9 iMac under macOS 10.14.6.

Hi. Have you checked if there is some Wacom driver update for your tablet? Maybe that helps.

Thanks, Marlon, that should have been obvious! Right now the driver download page returns a code 403 Forbidden, so I guess I'll try again later. Thanks again.

Hi Marlon, just following up. The Wacom driver download page still gives error 403 Forbidden, even after all this time. I updated my OS to Big Sur and contacted Wacom about the 403 problem. They sent me a direct link to download the newest driver, and the problem with erratic pen behavior is now solved.
