Suddenly I can't edit or select live type in Illustrator

Hello,

This morning I was trying to resize the US Nutritional Fact table on the packaging. Once I resized, I can't select or edit the live type. the text is not locked - I can still move it or resize it. I resaved it as a new file, restart the computer and uninstall the AI. Has anyone run into the same problem?

Are you sure it is still live type?

What do you see if you choose View > Outline; black filled text or contours?
