Symbol sprayer error

Hello guys I am using Illustrator CC 2020 and I have a problem with my symbol sprayer tool, i cannot adjust the size of the symbols, I keep adjusting the diameter but I get the same symbol size, which is usually too large, even larger than my artwork, could someone help me with that 🙂

The size of the sprayer tool does not affect the size of the sprayed symbols.

You can use the Symbol Sizer tool to Size the sprayed symbols.

In case you are going to spray symbol instances at a specific size, you can just place one instance on the scratch area, scale it as desired (step 2), leave it selected and then take the Symbol sprayer and spray.

The size of the symbol instances inside the symbol set will then be exactly the same size according to the size you set up in step 2.
