TEXT ALONG PATH

I NEED TO ADD TEXT NEXT TO "CBD" TEXT IN THIS BADGE. When I try the "type on path" tool, it gives me an error message saying I can't type on a compound path. Could someone please help?

Can you share the file or another screenshot with the paths activated?

Is there even text on a path in the file? Or has the text already been outlined?

It seems you "text" CBD" is not longer text. In that case the "letters" are now outlined text = paths and compound paths.

Check your drawing in Outline Mode [Strg]+[Y] or menu: View

You have to draw a new circle and to type a new text on path on that circle with text "CBD" and your new additional text.
