Hi all,

Trying to export some graphics to Powerpoint as .SVG and everything looks great in Illustrator but things are off in Powerpoint. Specifically, it seems like the text object size might be changing? In the attached files you can see that text that used to fit inside of a rectangle doesn't fit anymore in Powerpoint.

I have found a alternative solution for this. All I did is, the illustrator artwork which had shape, text (commmon forn family) and style, converted into pdf and then from pdf to word. This helped me retain the text size issue in word and ppt. Hope this helps to your usecase.

I have tried multiple ways and the result is the same:

  •  Select objects in Illustrator, ctl+c copy -> ctl+v paste into Powerpoint
  • Select objects in Illustrator, right click->export selection-> export as .svg... then drag and drop .svg into Powerpoint
  • Select objects in Illustrator, right click->export selection-> export as .svg... then file->import image into Powerpoint

I can't open the Powerpoint jpg so I not sure what is happening and I assume you are doing Insert>Picture>Picture from File? I can't replicate the problem, it is working for me. Have you tried it with another file to see if it works at all?
