The file could not be read due to an error

Good day community I get this error "The file could not be read due to an error" when I try to open my ai file with multiple artboards. Please help me.

What happens if you try to File>Place the (PDF part if any, of the) ailing file in a new document?

Are you trying to open a .ai file. What OS version are you running. have you restarted your computer.

I have Windows 10 and the Illustrator is 2018 version
