The screen will randomly fill up with white whenever I move things

Whenever I move something, the screen gets filled by white boxes and such. Same thing can happen when I'm using type. I'm not sure why this is happening. Can anyone help me out? I'm using a Mac Book Pro.

Update, so it might be a problem with the trim view. I turned off trim view and then it started working a lot better
