tiny cursor in artboard, normal cursor outside of artboard

I have CS6 64 bit installed on my laptop. I got it configured finally so that it wasn't so tiny, but inside the workspace the cursor is so small I can barely see it, regardless if I zoom in or whatever I do. I cannot find a setting to adjust the cursor. Where is it?
