What in gods name did you do? My tools keep going away and I can't save my tool pallets anymore? Fix this MAJOR issue.

Sorry to hear about this. In addition to details asked by Monika, would you mind sharing if you tried resetting the preferences?

If not, please try doing that. You may follow this help article to reset preferences.

**Please note that resetting preferences will remove all the custom settings and Illustrator will launch with default settings. You can also take a backup of the folders in case you want to. Location is mentioned in the article.
