Transforming artwork in Illustrator

I use Adobe Animate CC to create game sprites and their animations.

However, I wanted to use Adobe illustrator because it offers more flexible features, but I found some things that make me upset about using illustrator.

In Adobe Animate CC:

- I can select any part only with the main selection;

- I can modify any part, whether this line or not, without selecting any anchors;

- It is faster to make any modifications in any way;

Exemple:

Already in illustrator I can not do this same scheme quickly. So I would like to know if in illustrator it is also possible to do this quickly without having to choose the anchors or remove any part just like in the example?
