Hi,

I have an illustrator ocument that I am going to make into an pdf file but I want the images I have designed to show only NOT the background white...

So what I have done is turn off the background layer which when going into (show transparent ) it just shows my illustrations and not the background is this the correct way to do it ??? as the image I am drawing when turned into a pdf needs to be placed on to a box ...

I have the latest version of creative cloud

thanks

There is no white background unless you yourself put one there. All showing transparency does is provide a visual aid, it doesn't change anything in the file itself.

Hi. What do you get when you put the PDF in the box? Should be transparent.
