Trouble with a Shape!

Hi, i'm kinda newbie with manipulating certain shapes. In this case i made a logo but the base font  that i chose didn't have certain characters used to write in spanish. So my solution was to change the point of the "i" into a larger oval to create the  "accent" that was needed for my friends last name. The main problem is that at simple sight it looks good but when i need to see all the vectors, instead of just seeing the rounded shape i created i only see the box around it. i'll attach some pictures below so you can understand better.

PS. Sorry if my writing is a bit rusty, english is not my first language.

Thank you in advance.

You can just use the direct selection tool to select that box and then delete it. You might need to hit the delete key twice.

You're welcome!

It was probably just grouped or a clipping mask. You can look it up in the layers panel whenever you come across this again. The layers panel lists all the contents of your file. Have a nice day!
