Hi,

I have two columns of threaded text, and everytime I go to edit the second column, my text cursor ends up in the first column even when I click on the second one. Is there a way to turn this annoying feature off? I keep inserting spaces and text in the wrong place.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind sharing version of the OS & Illustrator? Does it happen on a specific document or all?

Have you tried resetting preferences? If not, please try doing that.

**Please note that resetting preferences will remove all the custom settings and Illustrator will launch with default settings. You can also take a backup of the folders in case you want to. Location is mentioned in the article.

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to your response.

Regards,

Ashutosh
