I have been unable to get any of the CC apps to open on my new M1 Macbook Pro. I have uninstalled and reinstalled them. Just spinny death wheels upon opening. I was able to initiate the diagnostic protocol for Illustrator but it still hangs up during opening and never launches. Any insight on how to get the apps to open?

Hi Andrew, Sorry to hear about your experience. I'd recommend creating a new user account on your machine(https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/mac-help/mtusr001/mac) & try working on the apps there. Let us know how it goes. Regards, Ashutosh

Hi Dan,

Thank you for the link. The gpu uncheck seems like a promising fix for the lag/crash issue many are experiencing, but I cannot even get the program to launch so that I can open preferences. I just tried the Photoshop Beta version (which should be M1 native) and that won't launch either.
