Hi!

I'm using Asset Export in Adobe Illustrator, but every asset i export contains graphics from an at least 3 year old project that is not supposed to be there. I use AI version 24.2 on a late 2013 Mac Pro with macOS Catalina v. 10.15.5. I have tried resetting the illustrator preferences with no luck. I have attached two screen shots to illustrate what happens. The "Body Wash" lid is not present in the illustrator file at all, but still appears in all my assets! I wonder why?

What happens if you copy the flag, paste it into a new file and export?

It actually worked! I copied the whole art work into a new file and all assets are ok. Strange to me, since the original file was a new file designed from scratch as well.

Thanks!

Hi there,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with Illustrator. In addition to the details asked by Ton, could you please share the actual Illustrator file.

Also, please check each and every layer in the Layers panel and let us know if you find this unwanted artwork there.

We're here to help, just need more info.

Regards,

Srishti
