Hello,

I have been saving my pattern swatches in ai cc under user defined. I had a problem with illustrator and reinstalled it without the preferences. Now ai works but I have lost access to all of my patterns in the user defined folder. How can I find them again? I am currently running 24.1.2.

Thanks in advance,

Susan

The user defined folder is part of the preferences files for Illustrator. If it's been replaced, those patterns are gone.

Do you have system backups you can restore them from?

It's in the Application Support folder.

When uninstalling Illustrator it might still be there.

You could try and look for it in your user folder.
