I am using a macbook pro and an Ipad pro 12.9 - I have the new apple ipencil and I am hoping to use the ipad as a drawing tablet however, I am not able to access the pressure sensitivity for brushes. Is there a fix for this? I see many threads discussing this issue with a Wacom tablet - am I just not able to utilize this with the ipencil and ipad in illustrator? Thank you in advance for your answers as well as my ignorance.

The threads about Wacom tablets have some tips in them how to deal with it.
What have you already done?
Which settings are there that you tried?
There are settings in the system about permissions of devices. There are settings in the Illustrator preferences (if certain devices are preset).

Sorry for my lack of knowledge - I have went through the accessibility settings and don't see anything helpful.
I do see a Wacom device which I would assume is the iPad listed but not sure what else to do or try.
I've used macs for years but more than stumped on this one.

Maybe contact the Astropad folks - they should know what to do?
