Vector images printing pixelated

Hi,

I am new to illustrator so excuse me if I don't know a lot.

I converted png to vector by doing image trace, high fidelity photo and then expanding but when I print the images they have tiny little dots.

I researched solutions and I already tried changing 72 ppi to 300 ppi in the document raster effects settings and printing it as a pdf but that didn't help.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Oh! do you by chance know if there's a way to fix that or is it just the way my printer prints?
