Wacom pressure stroke and illustrator settings not working

• I often and only use the brush tool with my wacom...ususally fixed brush angle and roundness, with various pressure settings.
  Recently I began work on a mural piece (6832x2400mm...so quite big) and now the pressure settings seem to change randomly, eg. set to 12pts...then after stroke will change to 120pts...then 1200pts and so on.
• The most annoying thing is the stroke is appearing far away from the path, as shown in screenshot.
• Also, when I have a smaller project open in illustrator the brush seems to work just fine, so I'm wondering if it has to do with the size of the artboard...

That is a large document.

So yes, it might be caused by the size.

You might try and get feedback by the engineers by posting this on uservoice

Hi.

These types of files are best worked at scale.

And when approved, fit them to actual size.

Thank you yes, Have had success by simply working on a smaller document and then scaling up 🙂
