Weird grid and chart lines

Does anyone know how to remove this weird grid? It's not the baseline grid and I've tried turning off all the view settings. It's throwing up some weird artboard effects and making it impossible to draw. When I try and create a new file it comes up like this as default. Please help!

You created a new document based on a video preset.

Try print or art&Illustration as preset for new documents.
