I just did a clean MacOS install thinking it would be no trouble to reinstall the CS6 apps, but apparently Adobe no longer supplies updaters. I managed to scrounge updaters for everything but Adobe Illustrator so I'm wondering if I can copy over the Illustrator 16.0.4 I had been using before doing the OS install.
I assume that if I just copy over the app, I'll get an error message telling me to reinstall, so which preference files (or whatever) do I also need to copy over?
(I can't believe Adobe has forced me to do this, but apparently there are security issues with AI so I have no choice. Never buying Adobe again, because they can't be trusted to make their software secure in the first place and then they leave their customers hanging.)
