My Mac's struggling to render even fairly simple graphics when I use a pattern swatch that was create from vector lines.
It seems lines get expanded when you make a pattern swatch from them, resulting in a lot of points.
I can rasterise the pattern swatch and it runs much faster.
Seems like it shoudl be the other way around so I'm wondering... Which do you think is best for pattern swtches- images or vectors?
Vectors are the most scalable.
But some objects and effects are not supported in patterns.

Thanks Ton, that's quite a list of outlaws! I'll try to make ANY pattern thatkeeps the lean efficiency of vector lines and see wht happens. First off I'll remove all profile from the strokes.
