Where is CutPP

I am creating a set of artboards that will be used to cut paspartouts from a computerized matt cutting machine. The person I am working with sent me an email that said

"It is important that the cutting contour is colored with a solid color. The full tone color must have the designation "CutPP".

I am assuming that cutting contour is talking about "Stroke" I do not see anywhere to designate "CutPP" when creating the PDF. Can anyone help. Unfrotunately, the person that sent me this is now on vacation and my deadline is next week 😞

I tried to attache the .ai file he sent me but I kept getting an error that said the file did not match its file extension. I saved this file directly from Illustrator. So, I do not understand that either.

You can probably just create a new swatch, spot color with the name CutPP and then assign that.

Are you saying that CutPP is not a selectable attribute. Just the name of a color swatch or layer?

From what you write I would conclude that. But I can't be sure without reading some specifications.
