Hi dear people

the internet keeps telling me that Illustrator CS 6 can automatically generate Loren Ipsum.

I am a newby trying to do basic tutorials and ran into difficulties right away - Illustrator just wont insert any dummy text when using the area type tool. As I have really now clue about the programm any minor disturbance is super confusing to me.

I spend hours now just on this simple task.

I could find the function neither in preferences, nor in objects or type.

Does anyone know where this function is hiding or is CS6 simply not employed with it or might my version be buggy due to age?

Best, Wil

As far as I can remember, Illustrator CS6 just does not provide automatic placeholder text.
