I'm having an inconvenient problem in Illustrator. For example, when creating anything that is off the drawing board:
These objects outside the artboard are displayed when saving, for example, in the browser:
Why is this happening?
Copy link to clipboard
Check the box that says Use Artboards to export only the artboard and not everything.
Where is this option?
In the Save dialog, bottom left.
Okay, thank you very much, I'll check.
This option did not work:
And there is only one artboard in the file?
Which version is this?
Yes, there is only one artboard. I'm using the latest version CC 2021.
I cannot reproduce this.
When was your last computer reboot? Maybe it's time.
If that doesn't help, maybe reset the preferences? Which will destroy all settings, so you might want to reanem the folder as described in here:
Don't have another way to modify? because I already restarted the computer and reinstalled illustrator but the problem persists.
What New Document Profile did you use to start this file? If it was Video, then there is a possibility of another artboard the size of the work area involved.
Please tell us the exct steps.
Please upload the source AI file as well as the resulting SVG (to Dropbox and post a link)
This is the AI file link (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tJS22cr7LzH-wgJSQDyTr17xoPzUjBEr/view?usp=sharing) and this is from the SVG file (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WSumYaiaW4kA4pQ8WEYxQw6g5XpiKICb/view?usp=sharing).
Somehow I can't download the SVG
Had the same problem, Monika
Note that the squares are not being ignored. They are half inside the drawing board and half outside those who are outside should be ignored when saving.
