Why did my zooming in changed in Illustrator using iMac mid 2014, Catalina?

Before, I used long press z button + mouse drag to zoom in and out. But now, there is this marquee or box shaped whenever I long press z and will zoom in, in that area inside the box you made using your mouse...

Can anyone here knows what I pressed and knows how to put it back...? I really appreciate it. Thanks

In Preferences > Performance, are both GPU Performance and Animated Zoom checked?
